Langkawi Lagoon Ocean Resort

Staffs are nice. Hotel facilities are very old WiFi connection is very poor. Swimming pool doesn't work at all during our 4 days stay....that's very disappointing when you are on vacation

The bathroom is big, and can easily fit 3 people at once. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The staff gave us mineral water every time we requested.

This is the only hotel I've stayed in that DOES NOT HAVE ROOM WIFI. I found this unacceptable. The weather is so hot in Langkawi, and the staff did not even switch on the fans in the lobby (no air conditioning either)! There was only a standing fan at the receptionist table. The fridge was in very bad condition, all moldy inside. The air con and fridge took ages to turn cold. We tried to request changing room but the receptionist sent the maintenance staff to check our room and he told us since everything is working fine, we can't change our room.

Very friendly staff..very nice view....can see groups of fish swimming from balcony...room has a vibes of kampung style...

Some rooms are private and looks like no maintenance at all..feel like at haunted town..

When reading the reviews, i was skeptical at first. But after arriving, the staff were helpful, the room is spacious, clean. The resort was so quiet and feels like no one's around.

For the view, yeah the seawater recede most of the time. Coconut tree blocked the seaview too. Interior needs maintenance

Room 589:1. No free wifi eventho they mentioned free wifi as part of their facilities.2. The veranda fence (wood) are rotten, unsafe to lean.

the room is very neat and clean, got iron, got balcony with beautiful view, so many part to place things, bathroom is soo !!

dont have even small fridge. :( and the ads is misleading that i need to upgrade bc they give me room unlike in the photos i booked.

The bathroom & shower is very good. I liked the water filter provided in the room.

When I finally checked in and arrived in the room, there was no microwave, the extra single-bed was not 'made-up' and had a tiny bunker-bed mattress, unlike what the photos in the advertisement showed, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and guess what... no wifi connection. This was mostly distressing as I had specifically communicated about the importance of a wifi connection prior to my arrival so many times. Once my friend arrived on the following day, we finally went for a swim, only to discover that Langkawi Lagoon Resort's swimming pool is incredibly dirty and unhygienic. After speaking to one of the staff members, he also admitted that their pool is very dirty. Therefore we only swam in the pool once. Another huge disappointment was the fact that they advertise themselves to be a "beachfront hotel" on Booking.com, which couldn't be further from the truth... Every day between 8am - and 4:30pm, there would be no water in this area. Only mud-pools and crabs as far as the eye can see until after 4:30pm when a small layer of water would start filling up these mud-pools. It's more of a wetland-area and impossible to swim here. Lastly, it's also really unfortunate that Langkawi Lagoon Resort has no vending-machines on site to buy extra water /or snacks, despite being far outside the town. I also ended up having to buy 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 spoons and 2 works which were not provided in the room. Overall I would say, staying here was far below satisfactory.

Got microwave to reheat food... Found a gorgeous white flamingo... but it flew away while I tey tosnap a photo...

- Confusing location, went to Ombak Villa to check in... then realized that I got wrong direction...- sandy floor, if a sweep place there, may be better...

a good place with a good price. with a budget u can stay with a seaview hotel. the staff is frendly, the housekeping is good. will be the place to stay when i come again and again.

Water pressure very strong.

Old building, everything old and worn out. No Wifi, TV no functioning, some of the lighting no working. Have ask the person in charge to repair TV and replace lighting. Promise to look into it but never turn up, this is what you get staying here. I feel like been cheated.
